Valuechain have entered a strategic partnership with the University of Huddersfield to map 450 manufacturing SMEs in the West Yorkshire region, and digitally connect the Rail Network in the region.
The collaborative project looks to utilise Valuechain’s Network Portal supply chain intelligence platform, to map 450 manufacturing SMEs in the West Yorkshire region, providing the extended rail network in the region a digital platform to connect and communicate easily.
The iQluster platform has recently undergone pilots with the Advanced Propulsion Centre to increase collaboration around the development of Electric Vehicles, and BAE systems to create digital supplier portal for Defense manufacturers in Australia.
The University of Huddersfield is a gold-rated public university located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. The university is known as one of the most innovative across the country. Not only is the university a place for learning but is also a centre of excellence for research and they like to push the boundaries of knowledge.
The University of Huddersfield recently established a Centre of Excellence for additive manufacturing alongside Renishaw, and Valuechain will be looking to launch their DNAam start-up programme through the partnership too.
DNAam is Valuechain’s solution for the quickly emerging disruptive technology, Additive Manufacturing. DNAam manages AM build planning and provides complete powder traceability and can be used in conjunction with our range of DNA production control systems or integrated with your business’ current ERP system.
This partnership will provide a great opportunity for Valuechain to prove our DNAam & iQluster scale up before rolling it out on a larger scale. Also, with a brand-new office on the campus, we expect to collaborate closely with leading researchers to further innovate our additive manufacturing solutions.
