Earlier this month, Valuechain joined 20 promising UK SMEs for a funded trip to Canada as a part of Global Business Accelerator program. This programme was organised by Innovate UK and European Enterprise Network in conjunction with their partner Coventry University, centred around UK – Canada collaboration in the Advanced Manufacturing sector.
Valuechain’s representative Happy Dudee met with forward-thinking technology businesses who are looking to promote Industry4.0 message in Canada. B2B meeting sessions were arranged with some of the region’s advanced manufacturers; and creating several opportunities for collaboration in the Additive Manufacturing industry.
Happy said, “This was an immensely successful trip for Valuechain. We’d been on the scoping mission to Canada in December 2017 with focus on artificial intelligence and connections made during that visit were visible on our following visit. There was a lot more awareness about Valuechain and its drive for Industry 4.0 among the SMEs. We were also able to have advanced collaboration and partnership talks with some like-minded Canadian Businesses”.
This Innovate UK mission was Valuechain’s second trip to Canada in the past 6 months, following a scoping mission in December, and is part of the company’s wider initiative to expand into North America resulting in the launch of their DNAam platform to the US Market last month.
