Valuechain is delighted to announce that our innovative cloud software solutions have been accredited G-Cloud vendor status.
Stated in 2013, the UK Government G-Cloud is an initiative targeted at easing procurement by public-sector bodies in departments of the United Kingdom Government of commodity information technology services that use cloud computing. The G-Cloud consists of:
- A series of framework agreements with suppliers, from which public sector organisations can buy services without needing to run a full tender or competition procurement process
- An online store – the “Digital Marketplace” (previously “CloudStore”) that allows public sector bodies to search for services that are covered by the G-Cloud frameworks
Following the recent round of applications for G-Cloud vendors, Valuechain have officially been confirmed as an approved cloud software vendor to the UK Government.
Valuechain CEO, Tom Dawes, commented, “Following a rigorous application process, this reaffirms the value in our solutions and the benefit we can bring to organisations of all sizes from micro-SME, through to Blue Chips and now the UK Government.”
Valuechain recently collaborated on the Government backed Digitial Readiness Level Tool, alongside Innovate UK, Hight Value Manufacturing Catapult, Digital Catapult, The Manufacturer and HSSM; which aligns with both the UK Industrial Strategy and Made Smarter UK Review, published in October 2017.
According to Valuechain, they hope this approval will create more opportunities like this, Tom continued “We believe that we can positively affect the UK productivity issue by working with UK Government bodies to underpin their strategies with digital platforms that build intelligent collaborative ecosystems throughout the UK.”
